What Year is my Club Car Golf Cart?

Knowing the year model of your golf cart is very important when ordering most parts.

First you want to locate your serial #

Club Car serial tag

From 1981 to present Club Car Golf Carts have positioned their serial numbers just under the glove box on the passengers side of the vehicle. The first two numbers (not letters) indicate the last two digits of the year of manufacture.

On Club Car Golf Carts made before 1981, you can find the serial number by raising the seat and locating the aluminum, I-beam frame section closest to the batteries on the driver's side of the car. If the serial number plate has been removed, you can confirm it is a 1975-1980 model if it has two brake pedals and one accelerator pedal.

Next if your Serial Number / Manufacturers Code begins with a Letter, that letter provides additional information on your car manufactured from 1980 to present.

Examples are:

A = Electric DS model AG = Gas DS model
F = Carryall I E = Carryall II

Then the first two numbers after the letter indicate the year of your Golf Cart

Using the pictured serial # above as an example:

A0032 - 916166 would be a 2000 Electric DS Model.

Please Note: For the 2000 year models, Club Car had a production change.

This change primarily effected the drivers seat , the roof supports & the roof.

See the description below as it may have an effect on ordering seat & roof parts
